Attention Mendham Township Parents: End Hunger in Our Community — Holiday Food Drive for Interfaith Food Pantry in Morristown, New Jersey

Our quiet Thanksgiving for four here in the Roxiticus Valley was the perfect remember of how much our family has to be thankful for, and particularly as the Christmas holidays approach, we are reminded of those who are less fortunate.  Just before the Thanksgiving break, London and Maddie brought home a flier in their backpack mail from Mendham Township Elementary School:

Help End Hunger in Our Community

Did you know that during the holiday seasons food banks run low on supplies?  Now is the time to help!

The Mendham Township Elementary School Tiger Leaders are collecting food donations to help stock the shelves of the Interfaith Food Pantry in Morristown, NJ.

Drop your food donations off in the Mendham Township Elementary School lobby between December 1st and December 19th, 2008.

Non-perishables, please.  Here are some suggestions:  white rice, mac and cheese, pasta, canned vegetables, soup, tuna, canned fruit, peanut butter, Boost and Ensure protein drinks, baby formula and baby food, laundry detergent.
